Veterans United held my hand every step of the way, which is exactly what I wanted as a person who has never bought a home before. Any time something was needed from me, it popped up on my dashboard and I got an email about it. The app and website are extremely user friendly, and someone was always available to help me if I needed it.
I know a good amount of people online say to avoid Veterans United. But I’d have to disagree I tried working with 2 other lenders when I was searching for a house in DFW and another when I decided I’d be moving to Tennessee they were all doing somewhat shady things. I liked that along the way I got to see actual documentation of where the rate was at and a decent estimate for cash to close. Every other lender I worked with would just say things and kind of stall and only tried to send documents when I finally told them I wouldn’t be proceeding with them. Thanks again Veterans United and Emily for all the help throughout the process!
