You know how you get into a big process - say, a mortgage - and you walk into their office unannounced and the first guy is like, "oh ya lemme just call all these people and get everything set up for you" and he had really bitchin' LOTR wall decor and everybody answered and not one person screwed up the conferences and transfers and all the documents and emails were done right away and correctly and you're like, "this is too easy," and you're immediately suspicious? Then you get into the nitty gritty of it and every time you call or message them they immediately jump through hoops to make it happen, and are just a little *too* friendly for people you know are going to drop the bomb on you at any second? And then you're a week out from closing, and everything has been like, *too* smooth, and they're like, hey we're gonna just throw in a free grand or so because we can, and you start hyperventilating because this is where it all goes catastrophically wrong and they're always like "oh yeah your loan officer just kinda left without telling anybody to join the coast guard auxiliary" (this literally happened with the previous mortgage with NFCU, 5 days before closing)? And then three days before closing they call and say hey congratulations you're clear to close! And you go full suspiciousfry.jpg and stare at the phone waiting for them to call and say "haha jk you're f'd!"?And then it's a week after closing and they're like, hey can you do this survey for us? And tautology aside you're STILL waiting for the other shoe to drop? And then it hits you... The other shoe will forever remain .. airborne? And it really was... Too Easy?So yeah that's what happened. The mortgage was for a house in another state with a VA loan contingent on the sale of our house here and this didn't phase them one bit. Bryant Gumbel... er, Chambly was my loan dude and he was an absolute dream to work with - super communicative, fixing problems before they happened, leveraging his team, the whole works. My only complaint is that instead of hold music, they have Rob Riggle scare the crap out of you. Not cool, Rob. Not cool.
I have really enjoyed working with you. I just wasn't thrilled about all the hiccups that kept pushing the closing date back.
The process is easy and if you have any questions, they are quick to answer. They are friendly and helpful during the process. I would not hesitate to use them for your mortgage or refinancing needs.
Good to work with get a real good job of giving me my new home work with me. Got me a good rate I couldn’t go wrong.
One person should work with your case and not several individuals that don’t communicate properly. This process became more stressful due to a breakdown in communication between myself and staff. Forms were needed by one person and turned in then the other requested the same thing because they didn’t do what they were supposed to and check before requesting the same thing.
Then on top of that they would request something and neglect to say what else is needed.
From start to finish, always there for any questions I had. Truly a fast and easy process.
VA United was very helpful and patient with me especially being a first time home buyer and a vet.

Kellen and Abigail were outstanding. Kellen has always been there for me. My process took 4-5 years before I closed yesterday. He could have pawned me off to the new person. Didn't happen, the man would call me back while on vacation with his family. Unbelievable customer service. He actually deserves a score above 10, however that wasn't a option.
Evan and Lynette were great. Buying a house is stressful and they were very easy to get ahold of and answer questions whenever I needed. Really great first time buying experience.
Right from the beginning I was treated with courtesy and respect that carried all the through the entire process. The entire team of professionals treated me like an MVP. They were friendly and answered all my questions expediently. I couldn’t say enough good things about them.
Tim and his team did a great job, and there were zero hic-ups through the whole process

Amber & her entire team at Veterans United were absolutely AMAZING!
Their professionalism and knowledge was spot on. They were always punctual and thorough with all of the task on my To-Do-List.
The entire team was very polite and kind, they understand the nuances and subtleties that's involved with getting approved for a mortgage.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Veterans United for any Veteran looking to purchase a new home or Refinancing an existing home.
Thank you for everything Amber and your team!
The underwriters were hung up forever on my divorce decree. It was clearly stated that I was not on the house. Ryan and Justin were great though!
