I know a good amount of people online say to avoid Veterans United. But I’d have to disagree I tried working with 2 other lenders when I was searching for a house in DFW and another when I decided I’d be moving to Tennessee they were all doing somewhat shady things. I liked that along the way I got to see actual documentation of where the rate was at and a decent estimate for cash to close. Every other lender I worked with would just say things and kind of stall and only tried to send documents when I finally told them I wouldn’t be proceeding with them. Thanks again Veterans United and Emily for all the help throughout the process!
Then whole team was awesome, specially Dustin with my many phone calls and obstacles , the gifts sent for my girls , my package ! I was totally clueless about everything and these wonderful folks went above and beyond to give me a opportunity i though was impossible . ill always be grateful for the opportunity they provided. It went great up until a week before closing. It seemed like there were all kinds of issues that last week that should have been seen and handled way before then.
The concierge folks were extremely helpful with home security, insurance, etc. All of the loan folks kept us updated and gave us opportunities to ask questions. Their responses were timely.

Keeping the buyer more in the loop, there was a couple small things that where asked about in the beginning, that weren't addressed causing a weeks delay and extra $1,300 investment fast to get the water to pass . If it would of been addressed in the beginning there wouldn't of been a delay and the extra $1,300 may of been substantially less, being able to do it myself...
Overall the experience cradle to grave to take out a remodel mortgage with Veterans United and with Ted and team was wonderful, easier than I expected
